Privacy Policy Resin Leef

About our privacy policy

At Resin Leef, we highly value your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services accessible through it from Resin Leef. The effective date for the validity of these conditions is 15-07-2023; with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes which data about you is collected by us, what these data are used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have concerning the personal data you provide us.

If you have any questions about our privacy policy, you can contact our privacy contact person. You can find the contact details at the end of our privacy policy.

Data Processing

• Your first and last name
• Your address details
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your IP address

Legal grounds for processing
We process your personal data based on the following grounds:

• Execution of an agreement

• Legal obligation
• Consent (if applicable)
• Legitimate interest

Payment platform

Mollie
For handling (part of) the payments in our online store, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address, and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve their services and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data longer than permitted by legal terms.

Shipment and Logistics

PostNL & DHL
If you place an order with us, it is our task to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL and/or DHL to carry out the deliveries. It is necessary for us to share your name, address, and residence details with PostNL and/or DHL. PostNL and/or DHL only uses these data for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL and/or DHL engages subcontractors, PostNL and/or DHL will also provide your data to these parties.

Purpose of Data Processing

General Purpose of Processing
We only use your data for our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality under the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. These data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal data.

Cooperation in Taks and Criminal Investigations
In some cases, Resin Leef may be required by law to share your data in connection with government-led tax or criminal investigations. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose it within the possibilities the law offers us.

Retention Periods
We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means we maintain your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you let us know this, we will also consider it a forget request. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. Employees no longer have access to documents we have produced based on your assignment.

Your Rights
Under the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, to prevent misuse, we send copies and transcripts of your data only to your already known email address. In case you wish to receive the data at another email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests, and in the case of a forget request, we maintain anonymized data. You receive all copies and transcripts of data in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

Right of Access
You always have the right to view the data that we (have) processed and that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who have these data, to the email address known to us, including the category under which we have stored this data.

Right to Rectification

You always have the right to have the data that we (have) processed and that relates to your person or can be traced back to you, adjusted. You can make a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted to the email address known to us.

Right to Data Portability
You have the right to obtain the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transfer this data to another controller.

Right to Object and Other Rights

In some cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Resin Leef. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or transcripts of the data we (have) processed available to you and then permanently cease the processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe that this is the case, please contact our privacy contact person.

We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized changes. These measures include:

Encryption (SSL/TLS): Data transfer via our website is secured by encryption.
